How long to update license?

I need to update my license with my new address but only have a couple of
weeks before it needs to be in for endorsement. Will DVLA have it back to
me in time or should I send it straight to the court with the wrong address?

Every time I've sent mine off for an address change, the new licence
has arrived within a week.
