All, looking for ideas to replace 1.2 Micra. It's a current-shape, great feautres etc. but too damn docile for us both to drive. Misses does 60 miles a day in it, and can't afford much more in fuel. It needs to be a decent-sized hatch - the Micra's slidey back-seats make it surprisingly practicle. She absolutely loves key-less entry and a/c. I struggle to think of a thrustier, quieter motor with equal economy and individuality? That kind of puts out the Fiesta/Skoda diesel types for her... Cheers |

For economy, try the 100bhp 1.5dci Renault Megane, to replace your Micra with a similar but cheaper to run/buy car, try the Daihatsu Sirion. (2005 on) Both cracking cars, plenty of room, etc. Megane is a bit pricy, though.... |
