Both of my cars could have them as options (well the earlier versions
could). But I doubt you mean a Citroen BX or a Volvo 300?!

It's more that they're not windows. They're engine bay vents. Yes, there's
a token glass panel between cabin and engine bay, but you can't *see*
anything through it...

Except that the engine isn't actually on fire (although that's more of a
603 habit)

Shame that pic's not *quite* cropped tightly enough to stop you seeing that
the engine bay cover's open...
