No, I needed a stamp in a warranty booklet that the ol/filter had been
changed within 6000 miles.

Aftermarket warranty...?

You do not need to have a car serviced at the dealership or garage you
bought it from. Check any independant garage and they will quote you the
appropriate EU Legislation which applies in the UK.
So the owner is well within his rights to have work carried out at any
garage - the manufacturer by Law is not allowed to get out of honouring the
warranty by saying their stamp isn't in the book for example.
This is what dealerships like you to think as it provides an income for
them. They lie to customers.
My local independant Vauxhall garage has the "did you know" posters
concerning this over the walls and even advertises it in local papers much
to the annoyance of Lookers!
I would say around £20 but check it is the correct oil and it isn't
overfilled.

I used to diy oil in past but not worth hassle now.

£10 for oil and £4 for a filter if you've got a decent idea of where to get
it. Which IMO is better than national tyres given a) I do it, not a monkey
and
Are you trying to claim there's a difference?

Well, not as much difference as there is between you and one - monkeys don't
have webbed feet...

One piece of advice for the whole world ? If you disagree with the
tourettes type of regular here then make sure that you hide your
e-mail

To do this go to tools/accounts/properties and in the e-mail bit
make sure your own e-mail is NOT there - juzt make something there
including an @ symbol - x@y.com

I know that the sick sods who get angry here are not to be crossed
therwise - I got child Porn when I started disagreeing with them, I
had to speak with the Police and get a new e-mail address

Oh FFS - go and buy yourself a sheriff outfit from a toy shop, and Learn
about usenet - you useless numpty.
You have no idea how stupid your post makes you look do you?
Tesco ISP must love having munters like you as customers.
