Smart car?? - not an automatic in the traditional sense (i.e doesnt work
the same way) - but it is an automatic all the same (slow changes though)

Other than that pretty well any automatic with a height adjustable drivers
seat should do the job. My wife is not much over 5' and doesnt have any
problems with pretty large cars.

Driver size is irrelevant! Get a BMW or the like with good seat and steering
adjustment.

Why stick to an automatic if you have five feet, get a manual with
three pedals, and have your other two feet spare for other
activities!

They're basically all the same. If you can't reach the pedals safely, get
some raising blocks from a disability shop.

Half the car universe.

We need more specifics. What else is needed? How many doors?
Performance? Running costs? Shape? Badge? Boot space? Rear seats?

Driver size is anything but irrelevant - in order to reach the pedals you
have to push the seat forward, which moves the gear lever and handbrake
backwards. Even with some steering adjustment most smaller people end up
squeezed up against the steering wheel and too close to the dash and screen
to drive safely.
My wife drives a Rover 216 Auto - with seat and steering column adjustment -
but she's still driving with bent up arms and the steering wheel about 4
inches from her body

Why don't you utilise those extra feet properly? You could operate a twin
clutch manual and still have a foot spare. Wicked!
