You just swap the engine and the wiring etc. As long as it's say, a 2.0
from another Escort into an Escort, it should be fairly easy.

Even easier, bearing in mind the OP's seeming limits and inexperience,
would
be to sell this one and buy a faster one. It'd certainly be a lot cheaper
to
buy and insure than a conversion.
