steve (AT) italiancar (DOT) co.uk (SteveH) gurgled happily, sounding much like they
were saying:

Mitsuoka Galue.

You are one sick, sick puppy.

Spotted this today and couldn't figure out what it was.
It's got the look of a kit car about it , but why would you make a
kit
car
hatchback?

It's a Nissan Pao.

So it is.
Thanks Steve

You're welcome. I have a bit of a thing about Japanese retro cars. The
Pao is supposed to be a modern 2CV with a 1000cc Micra engine. What a
want, what I really, really want, is a Mitsuoka Viewt or a Mitsuoka
Galue.

Most people know the Figaro and quite a few have heard of the Viewt even
if they've not seen one in the flesh , but the Pao was a new one on me.

Me too. I looked at that pic and noticed even the windscreen wipers don't
want to be near it, and who can blame them?

Steve

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "Dr Zoidberg"
<AlexNOOOO!!!!!!!!@drzoidberg.co.uk> saying something like:

I've a feeling that's one of those weird little Japanese-market only
specials of limited production run, knocked out by Nissan /Honda, etc.

I really like the S Cargo , myself.

Yes, I thought of getting one of those for my wife's business. Difficult
to find in good condition.
Still a fair few very good greys in Australia.
Don't think they'd float that far though!
