My point, however, remains. Nobody but a tasteless git would even *care* whether they were legal or not, as they are possible the naffest piece of tat since those stick-on mooning blokes. Take it you can't read either then, or at least not read the bit where I said I'm not interested in anyones fashion police answers just the law. |

seen quite a few places selling these LED valve caps that light up at night now but are they legal. I have seen nothing to say they are not legal but a mate says they are now. I thought as long as you don't display a blue flashing light it's OK to use them. Not interested in the fashion police side of things just the legality of them. |

Except for a couple of exceptions a light on a vehicle cannot physically move. Also it might be regarded as an optional side marker light and they must be amber. wrong Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989. It is worth expanding on some of these regulations: |

Although this bit confuses me. Lamps to show a steady light 13.-(1) Save as provided in paragraph (2), no vehicle shall be fitted with a lamp which automatically emits a flashing light. (2) Paragraph (1) does not apply in respect of- (e) a green warning lamp used as an anti-lock brake indicator; |

Also if the car/trike is registered as disabled transport with the DVLA would that class it as an invalid carriage ? |
