But given how inexpensive wired hands free kits are, or for that matter wireless Bluetooth headsets, surely it's worth getting one of these? hmmm wired is about 200 quid isn't it? I would love a handsfree - I love being able to talk freely like that. I've got the Panasonic camera phone now which doesn't have Bluetooth. I wish I'd've kept the Ericsson t68 now... |

Imagine if there was a similar hate-mob for people who overran the speed limit occasionally? I don't yap on the phone all the time, it's just occasionally, and I get a sense of anger when I see these yuppies in their SLK's driving with their Elbow with the phone to their ear and head twisted to one side.. it's like they're trying to actually LOOK COOL by being on the phone... and that's hardly a good way to be driving a car. I appreciate where you're coming from, and I'd only deliberately annoy somebody if I was in a grumpy mood (less and less these days, thankfully), too. But unfortunately, doing it infrequently but getting caught when you do it, it just as bad ("your honour") if you do it all the time and you're not caught. yep... you're right. I might see if I can get the T68 back off my mate and see if it's stopped cutting out during calls, then I can get a funky wireless handsfree. |

Then I would've caught up to you, got a little in front of you, spotted an animal in the road and hoped to got (yeah right) that you'd've left enough room to avoid hitting me when I did the emergency stop, else I'd be in hospital with my whiplash and having a fresh bumper fitted to my car... If you tried that with me you'd be dead. You'd not have a car left to |

But back to the topic though, I appreciate that talking on mobiles isn't good practice whilst driving, but there is such as thing as common sense... I mean.. if I do happen to be on the phone, i'll be like.. 'hang on a minute.. need to pull out / figure out where I'm going' and drop the phone for a min. |

We had a HGV demonstrate what it's braking abilities were like on the motorway during JOGLE, it stopped pretty well, too. And, no, we hadn't pulled in front of it because he'd annoyed us! ![]() |

Well, I'd have done the same to you, too. And driven off if you got out of your vehicle. |
