Default Toyota Puris - 03-04-2007 , 05:41 PM

Britain's worst car is the Toyota Puris. Oh yes it's supposed to be
great, because it's environmentally friendly. But, those who drive
them are the victims of a massive joke. Because, the Puris is also one
of the ugliest cars ever made, and other drivers laugh at them. Toyota
designers had a blank page, they could have designed the Puris to look
beautiful, but they chose to make it look ugly. A joke, surely. If
you're going to be smug and drive an environmentally friendly car,
we're going to make you look like a complete idiot, and thus,
undermine your smugness.

WTF is a PURIS?
Could be similar to Ford Domneo.
Actually I think he means Prius.
Mike.

Can you give me the link to the Toyota site that shows a PURIS please?
I have not heard of that particular model. Is it petrol or diesel or does
it run on LPG?

Some people are so "anti-green" that they troll about with a pile of poo
masqerading as fact.

The truth is it looks OK, at least its petrol (not diesel) and if you live
in London you don't pay £8 a day to drive around.
i know its not particularly economical but If I save £40 a week it goes a
long way to finance another fun car.

i did like however some idiot on the red carpet going to the Oscars said he
hoped Leo DiCaprio was going to win as they both drive Prius(es?), the
previous question he had boasted about flying to LA from NY in his private
jet

On what scale and perspective?

No, you may laugh at them, but I suspect if you could remember what was
between your legs, you'd laugh at that too.

That's in the eyes of the beholder. The Yaris, Auris and Prius are all
elegent designs.

As opposed to posting in a smug manner and getting the vehicle wrong?

Should have gone to SpecSavers, Dervy.

The Pious drives as well as it looks.
