Default Vehicle removal advice - 03-19-2007 , 05:01 AM

I'd really appreciate some help here. Friend has a scrap car sitting in
the driveway. It is moveable but not legally driveable. Do local
Councils offer removal and scrapping services or must it be arranged
privately (and how/who). I'm assuming some cost implication either way.

Location is Co. Down.

Scrap prices are sky high at the moment, so unless you're a long way
from a scrap metal place, there'll be someone about who'll take it away
for you and may even pay a small sum.
Or just pop it on eBay with a low starting price (but not too low to
cover the listing fees).
