Default Volvo V40 misting up. - 11-24-2003 , 04:07 AM





volvo v40 on 02 plate misting up badly.
checked carpets,boot and door seals no sign of water.
Any ideas.

Check your coolant level. If its dropping then heater matrix has sprung a
leak...

Got aircon ?
If so it might be in recirc mode hence the steaming up . Use the aircon to
reduce the misting then switch to non recirc mode .

Often see the odd car all misted up - often they have the rear fog light on
as well as the Recirc switch on. Haven't read the instruction book to find
out what the knobs and switches do. (Except Volvo owners)
