Default Want help with car sale in Bangalore - 05-04-2007 , 05:41 AM

I live in Kolkata and want to buy a Maruti Gypsy from someone in
Bangalore. I need someone to check out the car and report to me. If
all is ok, I need the NOC for the car from Mysore and then the car
should be shipped to me. Please quote your charges. Mobile and English
is essential.

Surely a newsgroup starting with uk is UK based?

I realise that I often speak to people employed by UK companies who
are based in Bangalore but this does not mean they are British or UK
based.

Maybe he thinks we are a british based help desk for Indian car sales? :-)

Sure I'd love to go and check it out.

It'd be about £2000 for the return flights and I'll need 3 nights five star
accommodation in Bangalore, insurance, fuel and breakdown cover for the
journey and a cash float for accommodation en-route and travel back to
Bangalore airport. I'd say about £4500 will cover it.

You realise that the trip is almost 2000km, on Indian roads ? You're a
braver man than I am, Gunga Din...
