Default Wheel Tracking Establishment - TrackLine or Track-Align ?? - 11-24-2006 , 10:36 AM

I've been told to get my Camber? adjusted to stop excessive wear on the
inside of the tyres. The place mentioned is called something like
TrackLine or Track-Align in Charlton (SE London), anyone heard of it?
No joy trying to Google 'em.

Cheers,
Lordy

There are plenty of places who do 4 wheel alignment. ..and it' usually
incorrect toe that causes uneven tyre wear.

I had the full tracking thing done early this year, on some fancy machine,
but either they bodged it up or there is something else wrong.
I was working away from home at that time, so I cant be arsed to drive
back to inquire/complain.
The previous owner had dropped the suspension (dunno why), and I've
been told this might be the cause and that it is plausible that the first
company did not fix this if they were just doing the tracking??

Anyway, I found the place, Truck-Align in Anchor & Hope Lane, Charlton.

Both rear tyres work on the inside FWIW, but the front wheels appear to
be just fine.

Cheers,
Lordy

In my experience it's often a worn suspension bush, so get them checked
before you go spending money on tyres and alignment.

Unless it's lowered excessively there shouldn't be a problem but the
alignment specs for a regular car aren't necessarily the right ones for
a lowered one. What car is it? Also, like someone else said, worn
bushes etc can play havoc with tyre wear.
