I have just taken delivery (5 day) of a brand New Zafira diesel and
every time I turn on the heater I contantly get diesel smell fumes
coming out of the vents, does anybody know it this is normal on a new
car and it will eventually disappear or should I take it back to the
vauxhall garage for them to check it?

The smell give me an headache and make my nose hitch.

logically diesel is put into the tank and goes through the engine then goes
out of the exhaust as fumes there is nowhere else on it's travels that it
should go i would sugest that it is not a major fault perhaps an injector
pipe requires tightening or something else that they could do while you
wait --------- if you park in a garage out of the wind you could try putting
newspaper under your engine and leave the car ticking over for 10 minutes or
so to see if any diesel has dripped purely out of interest
