Not really a surprise - I don't know what the early race trucks
weighed, but I know an over-the-road tractor with sleeper comes
in at around 32,000, so I'd guess the race trucks were well over
15,000. That's a lot for a track that was built with the idea
that 3600lb stock cars would be the heaviest things around
(yeah, I know, when Milwaukee was built that wasn't what they
had in mind...but it's been rebuilt a time or two since 1909).
