It was a bad move, but it must have been made worse by some other factor --
a car that dominated the race suddenly goes to nearly getting lapped in a
single green run. JG was cutting them up earlier in the day, he could just
turn left right under just about anyone he wanted or go around the outside
of pretty much anyone also. I don't think everyone got that much better all
the sudden. And he didn't adjust on the last stop that I heard.

27th to about 20th, and then faded back to about 27th again. It was about
that point that the announcer commented that there must be something wrong.
He finished 24th, so I guess he gained a couple of positions when several
cars ran out of gas at the finish. Yeah... it was a bad call. should have
just gassed and gone.
