Ok, so you now win the second cup with 1 pick over my 1 pick. This is good? Somebody else that picks righ 95% of the time 5 times a week all year, loses to your 1 pick. On paper, yes. In reality, no. Scorn will rain down from the summit of Moral Victory Mountain like hot ash from St. Helen's if anyone tries to steal the trophy by batting 1.000 with one good pick. :-O |

John McCoy wrote: No offense to either of you, but I think you're both heading in completely the wrong direction. The RPG basically failed at the end of this season, because no-one wanted to play (Jeanne & I excepted). That's not entirely true. I wanted to play, but didn't have time. |

... I'm in favor of a system that allows fewer, hoping that it'll draw some guys with 1 or 2 ideas each week. |

Well, I for one promise to hop in next year, whatever the rules are, and not worry about whether I'm getting them right, but trusting y'all to straighten me out if/when I screw it up, which I'm sure I will for a few weeks. ![]() |

Iffen y'all are willing to deal with that, I'm willing to hop out there with predictions.... |

I added two new rules in the fine print last night: |
|
- No one has to read the fine print if they don't want to. |
|
- Anyone who wishes may used an abridged set of the rules to play their own version of the RPG game. All is fair in love and RPG, so long as people make it clear that they are using a subset of the rules. |

I added two new rules in the fine print last night: UH-OH!!...the dreaded 'fine print'! - No one has to read the fine print if they don't want to. But, you'll rue the day ya didn't! |

All is fair in love and RPG, so long as people make it clear that they are using a subset of the rules. HUH?!?!...'abridged'??...'subset'?? Whaaaa? Only using left-handed drivers? Only using cars with the letter "b" in the sponsors' name(s)? Only competing against RPGers west of the Mississippi? |

I respectfully suggest the KISS principle be applied vigorously to RPG. |
