Default RPG - Daytona - WW -3 - 02-19-2007 , 09:06 AM

See how long WildWeaselRacing can stay in the game. We don't have sponsorship
to carry us the whole year.

1. A Chevy will win and will have the most in the T5 (or tie) but a Chevy will
not be in 2nd place. (may as well start off with the triple pick!)

-1, dang second place!

2. There will be 1 (and no more) Toyotas in the T15

-1, there will be 0

3. A Toyota will finish last

-1, no, the winner will finish last

4. At least 3 of the starting T10 will finish T10 (38, 88, 20, 2, 8, 40, 31, 5,
11, 17)

-1, there were 2 (38 and 31) but up until the wrech the 11, 17, and 88 (I think)
were all there!

5. At least 3 of the finishing T10 will start outside the T20

+1 34th, 26, 22, 35, 30, 28, 42. wow 7 T10 started outside the T20

Winner: 20

of the first to be able to head out and beat traffic

Bonus: The Goodrich blimp is forced to land on the backstretch during the race.

You get lots of style points for that dive.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the scroll that
said TS was in 43rd place. What a plummet!

Looking at videos on Jayski's site, I could see the
wiggle the 20 did to back up into KB.

Also KyBu's bizarre slide up the track, wiggle,
& crash.

Last, but not least, MM's wiggle when KH was
passing him.

Were KyBu and MM trying to side-draft KH? Did they
deliberately swerve toward him? Or was it an
accident in both cases?

Seems to me that if MM and KyBu had stayed low and
stuck together, they might have edged KH rather than
vice-versa.

Coulda, shoulda, woulda.

You may, if you wish, score yourself using this
year's rules:

http://moleski.net/dokuwiki/doku.php/rasnm/rpg

Shortest version: +1 for true RPGs; +3 for picking
the winner; play hard, but don't take the game
seriously.

Bottom line: +2 for you.

Yes, KuB accepted the wrap, and sincerely, I thought, but the 20 did come back
to him, not the other way around.

I thought MM should have inched up and pinched KH up the track rather than
letting KH pinch him down. (Then KyB or JB may have won when MM and KH were
wrecking!)

I also think, while I am solidly with John as being against the 'no racing to
the yellow' rule, I think that nascar blew their own stupid rule, there should
have been a yellow, under the rules. I just wish they changed the rule and
said: race to the line on caution, if we want you to stop racing we'll throw a
yellow and red and if we want you to stop we'll throw a red. That would have
been a yellow flag situation. Had MM and KH been wrecking it would have been a
yellow/red.

I got a +1 for #5 and zeros for the rest for a score of 1, but I like your math
mo'betta! You might have added 1 for playing hard and lack of seriousness, but
I didn't think those MVM points actually counted - Thanks!.

And here I thought the new rules would eliminate all math mistakes. (

So much for "the grace of office." :-P

Yes, you're right. Martin's tactic to win the race would be to run
KH up the track until he either has to back off, or he hits the wall.

However, Mark has never raced that way.

No, the 88 had had the misfortune to be going slowly on the same part
of the track as the #8 was going rapidly, leading to a significant
shortening of both cars, some while earlier.

That's right, I remember commenting on the 888 car. Jr jacked the 88 up pretty
good.
