Default RPG 'Dega II (Chase VII) Tom S - 10-31-2009 , 06:36 PM

No qualifying or final practice. I should be in there watching the
truck race, but we'll just have to go with what we got.....

Winner: Ryan Newman. The winner at 'Dega isn't always the fastest
car. It is often the guy who puts himself in a position to not get
freight-trained in the last lap. I think Ryan will be that man.

1. Marcos Ambrose will card a top 10.

2. Michael Waltrip will finish in the top 15. Mikey knows how to
plate race.

3. The chasers are all starting together at the front of the field.
But it is a long race and in the end, only 5 or fewer will be in the
top 12.

4. Bobby Labonte will finish in the second 10.

5. The big one (6 or more cars involved) will occur between laps 75
and 125. At least one chaser will be involved in the wreck.

First Segment points - + 20
Second Segment points - + 30
Chase points going in - + 15
Points in this race - +
Chase points leaving - +

A good point. The fastest car in the spring race was Carl Edwards
(who, as most recall, did not win the race).

The NASCAR crack down on bump drafting produced a dull, race until
near the end when Ryan Newman went flying and then the green white
checker restart livened things up with Mark Martin trying to duplicate
Newman's feat. David Ragan ran the new Ford motor and he and the
motor performed real well.....

+0 He coulda, if he hadn't gone flying instead. Finish 36th... Great
win for Jamie Mac. I am glad to see him get a win.

+0 He coulda too. He was in there more than once, but got caught up
in Ryan's wreck and ended 34th...

+1 A seventh place finish for Mikey. That may be his best of the
year.

+1 Only Kahne, Biffle and Johnson, managed to crack the top 12.
Unless I am missing someone.

+0 Great run for Bobby, but one position too high for me. He
finished in 10th.....

+0 Two big'uns and more than one chaser involved, but they waited for
the end of the race to have them.

On the same note, I was really rooting for Elliott Sadler.....would have
been really cool if he could've stayed up front and pulled off the win.
