Default RPG - Richmond - McCoy - 05-04-2007 , 08:04 PM

The Win: Denny Hamlin. I'd really like to pick either Truex or
Bowyer here, both of whom looked pretty smooth in qualifying, but
Hamlin was so strong in the other two CoT races I think he's got
something extra.

1 - Riggs & Montoya are the 2 top Dodges, in either order.

2 - Three Toyotas qualified, two will complete the race.

3 - Continueing the good runs for the Hendrick satellite team, Jeff
Green will get a T10.

4 - Mark Martin qualified best of the 3 Ginn cars, he will finish
10 or more places ahead of the other 2.

5 - Despite a poor qualifying run, Matt Kenseth will be the top
finishing Ford, again.

Bonus: for the first time NASCAR officials actually take a close
look at Reutimann's engine, and discover it's a Chevy. Mike Waltrip
declares himself perplexed as to how it got there. Jarrett says
"uh, well, I didn't think he was that much faster than we were, so
maybe that explains some things".

n.com shows 4 Toys: Benson, Reutimann, Allmendinger and Blaney

are you talking lead lap? running at the end?

You are correct, I missed Benson. So let's rephrase it to:

2 - Four Toyotas qualified, two will not be running (on track)
at the end of the race.

Do the drivers still have to be at the track?

.... just kidding on that one!

No, just the cars (since I specified "Toyotas", rather than calling
out the drivers by name).

Isn't it time you critiqued someone elses picks? Y'know, equal
opportunity and all that :-)

BTW, happy birthday :-)

Thanks. Man, we had a WAY better time than they were having at the race. I saw
one shot as I walked past the tube and it looked WET!

And, you know, I'm gonna take a good look at Mr. "Random's" picks too. I
sometimes suspect Marty is looking to Mr. Predestined for some of his insight!

Y'know, I forgot to score these...

Quote:
The Win: Denny Hamlin.
nope.

Quote:

nope, Busch and Newman

Quote:
2 - Three Toyotas qualified, two will complete the race.
nope, all 4 were on track at the end (and all thru the race, too,
none of them spent time behind the wall or anything of that nature).

Quote:
3 - Continueing the good runs for the Hendrick satellite team, Jeff
Green will get a T10.
nope, 24th

Quote:
4 - Mark Martin qualified best of the 3 Ginn cars, he will finish

nope, Martin 17th, Marlin 23rd. I claim an MVM point for being
right about Martin being the best of them :-)

Yay, a point :-)

race: 1
season: 11
