What NASCAR has, works (right now) but up in NH when Ricky Fuller smacked the
turn one wall, luck was on his side as there was no fire or anything such as
that. Granted, it took them 30-35 minutes to get ricky out of the car (and he
was still unconcious when they finally did.)...I was watching during the entire
"incident"and the NHIS safety crew was working as hard as they could. They had
to cut the roof off of the car and it still took 4-5 BIG BURLY GUYS several
minutes more to get Ricky out of the car and onto the back board. I heard on
the scanner that they were supposed to fly him to Concord Hospital as soon as
the checkers flew but that never happened (Maybe because he regained
conciousness in the infield care center while that was going on...dunno - but
he WAS driven there and stayed a couple days.) Fuller's wreck was badly
remeniscent of Jan Leaty's wreck 3-4 years ago that took him out of racing for
that legth of time....same place too.
The scary thing was this woman who's a media type associated with a NASCAR
publication, noted during the red flag at the begining of the race, said (about
a rainbow trhat appeared toward the end of the red flag) it made her hair stand
up...the rainbow ended right about whereKenny Irwin wrecked that day a few
years back....

Freeeky!
