Default About Montoya - 07-26-2009 , 07:24 PM

I do not care if Montaya was going 0.143 MPH over the speed limit or if he
was going 0.719 MPH over the speed limit. He was trying to obey the speed
limit but NASCAR fucked him so that whitebread robot clone no personality
Jimmie Johnson could notch another meaningless win that nobody cares about.

But people do care about Montoya getting fucked out of his huge lead. So
NASCAR is a meaningless Jimmie Johnson festival. Hope the cheater enjoy
what that brings.

I would not set foot into a Lowes store again unless somebody had a twelve
gauge shotgun duct taped to the back of my head and was forcing me in there.

That wouldn't work so well. It would be better if the gun was a
little further away, so you get some spread on the shot.

I too feel that Montoya was blatantly robbed by the old redneck white
boys club.

Can't be letting them funny talking foreigners be winning a white
bread race.

If Montoya wasn't speeding through pit road, I am in total agreement. If he
was, then you guys are idiots.
They have those speed limits in place for a reason, and it isn't to fix
races.

Now, if they once in a while ignore the fact that one of the "white bread"
drivers breaks the speed limit, then you can at least argue that point. If
not, you're just a jackass. The rules are the rules. The most important
thing is that they are applied evenly, to all drivers, in all situations.

Ahhh, but you don't need spread for that scenario. In fact, less spread
would be better.

This is a 12 gauge Remington, punk. From this distance it would blow your
head clean off. Feeling lucky, punk?

NASCAR has all the credibility of WWE, and as I have stated before,
some of what NASCAR does during a race scripts the predictable ending
of some races.
So in other words, had NASCAR turned the other cheek, and said
"gee.... he was only a tad over the5MPH buffer we already give them,
let's let it slide this time.."
That would be MORE credible??????
I was pulling for him to win it. Would have been nice to see someone else
win the big one for change.
So it's not like I'm a JPM hater...

And this constant comparison to the WWE by some,
is really old and played out.
They aren't trying to tell you their program isn't scripted.
They tell you it is.... you know it is.
If there are people out there that still think they are trying to fool
you into thinking it's not scripted, they should go back to the third grade.
I think they are credible, because every time you go to a show,
you see a good one. Rarely do people leave feeling they got a bum deal.
They deliver what they promise.

You have completely missed the point, JJ was the chosen winner of the
race.
I guess I did.
Thanks.

This is a little like the "what's the benefit to NASCAR screwing
with Mayfield's drug test" question: what's the benefit to NASCAR
by choosing Johnson to win the race? He's a very good driver, but
he's boring as all get out, he doesn't have any real fan base. If
NASCAR wanted to pick a driver to win, they'd pick Stewart or
Gordon or Earnhardt, or maybe Kenseth or Edwards if they didn't
want to be obvious - someone with a big fan base, that the media
would make a fuss about.

The facts don't support your hypothesis; JJ is 4th in sales.
I imagine those numbers will keep growing with each win and
championship. Besides, how can you not like a guy who got
started riding dirt bikes?
