Verizon IS going to buy Alltel - shades of ATT & Burton. I wonder how the 12 team will be dealt with by their Alltel sponsor. Isn't that Newman's sole big sponsor? I can't recall seeing a different scheme on his car, although there must have been some off and on.... N. |

Cingular logo back when it was Nextel Cup!
That and Newman's Verizon car would be like having a Marlboro primary
scheme on a car in the Winston Cup days!
