Default Anti-Hendrick - 09-18-2006 , 05:26 PM

Anti-Hendrick
I suspected 'help' from teammates in The '04 & '05 Chases,
but saw no clear evidence of help.
Perhaps things have changed in '06?

At NH, RCR teammate Clint Bowyer got loose on Lap 89 starting
'the accordion effect' that gathered up HMS' Jimmie Johnson.
Then on Lap 198 'loose' Clint walled HMS' Kyle Busch.

#66 Jeff Green (no teammate-wonder why?) wouldn't let off
on Lap 2 to allow Chaser Kyle Busch to pass cleanly.
At 26.Richmond, JGreen felt JJ wrecked him on purpose,
so he damaged JJ's car by running into him under caution.
Why would anyone care to wreck JGreen?
Is this the only way the guy can keep a Cup ride by
wrecking contenders & then get Media notice?

The 'Uncomfortable' Tony Stewart makes an 'admirable' speech
2 weeks inarow, and yet has no problem banging with
Jeff Gordon around Lap 174 for 4th place!
Of course TNT was at Commercial but MRN described the event.

Does NA$CAr's admonishments to be careful around Chasers
apply only to the non-Hendrick cars?

It would appear so, wouldn't it? I thought Jeff Green's comments (and
the other panelists' encouragement of same) were really not funny on
INC last night. Everyone joked about how since Kyle got hit twice at
Loudon, Jeff Green could relax and not crash him at all in the next
race. Huh? I know they thought they were being funny, but I can't
believe the entire INC group (especially Schrader) making such a joke
about Green's lack of skill and general all-around pathetic sore-loser
attitude. It was pretty unbelievable in the first place, that he was
even on the panel - he must have been the first willing body they
found.

Excellent analysis by both of you. I've had similar thoughts along these
lines, but I appreciate the organized way you've made your case.

IMO, Jeff Green is in way over his head running in Cup. Although not the only one running in Cup to be in over their head...

Thanx Hammer (& Nancy).
I blew it in my last statement however:
I should've stated ...admonishments to be careful apply only to HMS cars,
cuz they don't seem to apply to non-HMS cars in the Chase, especially
when around HMS cars.

During 'the INC show' The Joke was: Now i only have to take out the 24 & 25,
said Jeff Green. His CC Bootie Barker got his start with HMS, and i can't
believe he had anything to do with JGreen's perception that HMS is out
to get him. Why would any Cup driver even consider JGreen, except that
he seems to retaliate often cuz of this misperception?

Jeff Green has always been the biggest whiner in Cup.
I can't believe he even has a Cup ride, just like Blaney.
Both of their career Cup stats are pathetic,
and yet they still have a ride that 18 to 21 year-olds should have.
