Last year when it was pouring down rain most of the crashes were because the drivers couldn't see where they were going and not from spinning out. |

fine, but the double-file restart needs to be applied accordingly. They
should have reverted to single-file restarts once the track became wet.

There were a lot fewer crashes last year too because they weren't using double-file restarts last year. In fact, I would not be opposed to some sort of method to
having them go single file with a few laps (varied by track) to go.
Only because I hate seeing guys get porked with say 3 to go,
because somebody in 34th smacks the fence.
During the race, you have time to make up spots lost,
but say during a GWC situation you were running 3rd,
you could get pounded back to 10th, or worse, through
absolutely no fault of your own.
I'm also not big on unecessary carnage.
