If you insist on something of the moderated variety, you are very
kindly welcome to join the popular Yahoo group linked below.

I don't insist. In fact, if you can't don't like opinions that disagree
with your own, or 'childish' posts as you say, why don't you stay in a
moderated group instead of posting here? Or start your own moderated group
and post only the things you agree with then you won't have anything to
complain about.

You know how the village idiot works - he stops in here whenever there is
something in the news that he can feed off of, proclaims himself to be so
much more intelligent than everyone here, spams the Lake for newbies to join
his Yahoo group, and eventually leaves again for a while, after virtually
everyone invites him out the door. He'll be gone soon. Thankfully.

A guitar is not a 'trophy' - it's a musical instrument. And at Martinsville
the grandfather clock is not a trophy - it's a piece of furniture. If the
track managment wants people to value their 'trophy' then the tightwads
should give something the winner will want to display and be proud of, not
something they can join a band with. And if they want to give out furniture
then at least make it something useful like a La-Z-Boy that the winner can
use and enjoy. While I think KyB is an immature punk it was entertaining to
see him bust that piece of crap up. And he was right to do so - maybe next
race they'll try presenting something more appropriate as the 'trophy'.

In the case of Nashville and Martinsville, they are trophys.

Glad you find that entertaining. I found it rude and classless. I
guess I can now see why there are reality show that glorify rude and
obnoxious people who say F*ck sixteen times in a minute. I see why
there is a TV show and a web site for TMZ. I see why the grandaughter
of a hotel found can have a sex tape released that makes her more
popular than people with 100 times her talent.

I am sad to be witnessing the dumbing down of America. The Chinese
are just laughing and shaking their heads.

The Chinese want to be us. They want to drive Buicks and wear blue jeans.
Oh, wait a minute, they already do those things. And do you know who else
wants to be us? Everybody. They may not care for all of our politics but
they sure do want our lifestyle. Do you know what they watch on television
thousands of miles from Hollywood? CSI, Lost, Housewives, Heros, Anatomy,
and the rest. Movies? Same thing. Pop Music? Same thing.

We are the world. We are Microsoft and Hollywood and Ford and GM and
Chrysler and Levi and Wrangler and all of those fancy running shoes. We are
where people want to be and what people want to be. People do not risk
their lives to leave America but plenty of people risk everything to get to
come to America.

If you have a problem with America then drag up and get the fuck out. Go to
that place you think is so much better. Send us a postcard.

I know how you feel. NASCAR fans make up a large portion of the most
stupid in America's population but I do see it slowly getting better.

China wants to be like us in that they want to be the #1 economic
power in the world, and it looks like they are well on their way.

So for you it's America: Love it or leave it?

Who should I make the post card out to? Mr. Usenet Racist Troll?

Can you provide the address of your cave?
