How about that turn out for the Busch race today. You could also hear the cheering in the broadcast. Cup will be going there next, you got to believe. F1 has just as big a crowd. What is sad is the stands in the last American open wheel race there last year. You could see the bare aluminum thanks to Tony George. ;-) |

If they have to race on a road course in Canada, it should be at Mosport, about 60 miles east of Toronto. That track is a lot like Watkins Glen. Besides, there's lots of NASCAR fans like me who wouldn't set foot in "La Belle Province", but then again, I guess I shouldn't let political differences interfere with my love for NASCAR. As for today's Busch race, there was waaaaayyyy too much emphasis on Quebec's French culture. The race was being run by an American organization for crying out loud!! Other than that, the race was pretty screwed up at the end! I'm very disappointed in Robby Gordon, and because of him, a bonehead won! That was Ambrose's race! |

Any thing but "Toronto"! I, like most of Canada, hate that city! |

Hope all u Canadians have been pretty well assimilated into RASN for many years. It's enlightening to Americans that there may be competition, even hatred, between heritage of French v English still. Sorta similar between JGordon Fans & Earnhardt Fans, eh? Nevertheless, this American was impressed by the number of StockCarRacin Fans who showed up for a NBS race & their vocal support even if it was nationalistic for Patrick Carpentier!! Good for y'all! Canada deserves a Cup race.- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - |
