Well, the crack team of ESPN race announcers pulled a new one on me
tonight, referring a number of times to the "Caution Car" when the
caution came out at one point during the race. Someone must have
eventually corrected them because they finally started calling it the
"Pace Car" again later in the race. Nice one guys.

I often hear Nascar Race Director David Hoots refer to the "caution car"
several times during races I attend. Since they are monitoring the Tower
freq. I am sure they are just repeating what they are hearing on their
radios..
