Yeah, nobody ever really stops to think, what killed off the dinosaurs? An
ice age. Stands to reason that from the coldest part of that ice age would
begin a period of warming, leading to a large thaw, leading of course to

stage of the current era. Yes, glaciers are melting. Millions of years ago,

And we're NOT killing our planet. The planet will be fine. We all may die

sure the Earth could care less whether or not people are on it at the time.

EXACTLY!!! Thank you!! I'm so tired of hearing about how we are all
contributing to global warming and that we're killing off the earth and that
soon we'll have no planet left. BULL. Earth has already been around for
about 4.5 billion years...lets think about this for a second. It has
survived 4.5 billion years, and basically what they're saying is that since
we've started really developing technology, etc., which has only been since
roughly the late 18th, early 19th centuries, we are killing the planet and
soon there will be nothing left?! Hmmm...survives 4.5 billion years of
life, death, unbelievable weather, earthquakes, etc., and we can kill it off
in a matter of years?!

I DON'T THINK SO!

The point is, my dears, that we are killing off the Earth habitat required for
humans to exist.

The Earth will be OK in another few million years. But we will be the first
species to die of our own stupidity...and possibly very soon.

No we're not. At the very worst, we're making life in the future a bit
more expensive to live. At the very worst. There is a very real
possibility that much, if not most, of the variability in climate
observed over the last 100 years in not of mankind's making. Such
