Is any one else sick & tired of every NA$CAr race producing
a major controversy?
Has this become NA$CAr's most important product?

On 4/14/03 i posted this to RASN & sorry couldn't find
Hunter's quote on NA$CAr loving controversy, but this is close enuf:

Did Helton Actually say this?
In his Mike Joy/FOX pre-race interview,
did Helton say NA$CAR WANTS Passionate Disagreements (controversy)?

Not Said was: And N will do its part to provide it.
Also implied was an axiom: As long as they're talking about us,
even bad publicity/attention is good.

Not surprisingly, Helton didn't even mention that DEJ had also
taken the lead from the #48 without going below the line.

Surprisingly, none of the Internet writers posted a transcript of this
interview. Are they too afraid that N would deny their credentials
at the racetracks?
