Edwards broke his foot playing Frisbee, but will still drive
Atlanta...in both races.

He used it as a forum to praise AFLAC, like a good driver should.

He said that he and friend went after a frisbee that had been thrown
by someone else. Both he and the friend went after the frisbee and
the friend landed hard on Carl's foot.

He was on a local radio station this afternoon, and he did bring up
AFLAC. He was calling from a cancer unit at a local hospital where he
was visiting kids on behalf of AFLAC. I don't really care too much
for the guy, but he seems to walk the walk (or limp).

Carl said he has to have crutches to walk, but can drive fine.

*how do you break your foot playing frisbee?
nobody plays frisbee sober. i'd imagine if you're drunk enough there's
a way to break your foot playing frisbee. this is probably similar to
paul tracy breaking his arm (or whatever it was) a few years ago in a
golf cart accident...it comes out a few weeks later he was actually on
the roof of the golf cart and that's how it happened

I think Jimmie Johnson also pulled the same stunt awhile back. LOL
my bad it was jimmie who fell OFF the roof of the cart:

tracy only crashed his golf cart and broke his shoulder

I think it was a couple bones in the top of his foot - my son broke a
bone or two in the top of his foot running up the stairs (carpeted)
and accidentally hit the top of his foot against the edge of a step.
It doesn't take much. Son didn't even have a cast on his foot....
There are LOTS of bones in a foot.
