Dale Jr. will not be as good as his dad. He will not win 7 titles or will he
win as many races.
The cars are more equal from the competitive rules.
Which increase the chance more drivers with a better chance to win.

Even so, if they stick with this Chase thing, 7 titles may not be that hard
of an accomplishment as it once was. All you have to do to have a
*legitmate* shot at a title every year now is be in the top 10 after 26
races. IMO, that's easier than trying to finish first through 36 races year
in and year out. I think it's cheapened the title somewhat. But that's just
me.

IMHO, Senior's titles were some of the hardest to win. They we all modern
era (meaning 36 races or less a year), and the competition that could win
weekly was deeper than 5 or 6 teams, and all the contenders run all the
races now (they used to race so much, it was nothing for racers to skip 5
races or more a season). Now there's probably 20 teams that can win any
given week, and fully HALF that number is garaunteed a shot at the
Chase...just sounds watered down on paper anyway...so comparing anyone,
Junior or anyone else, to Senior's accomplishments, heck even Jeff Gordon's
accomplishments, are going to be difficult to qauntify at best. They won
their titles, even their races, in a time very different from now. It's the
same reasoning why it is truthfully difficult to even compare the King's 7
titles to Earnhardt's today.

No I don't think he will. I don't think he has the ultimate driving force to
win at any cost, that his dad did.

Better competition ? I'd say no....There were a hell of a lot of very good
drivers the years Dale won, especially his rookie of the year, and his first
cup win the following year.

Just like Dale says in the movie "there ain't no one better in me"

That's not bragging, that's a fact.
