You could tell who the "dirt" drivers in the bunch were, Smoke,
Bowyer (who built JJ's car for him) Schrader, Blaney, even Herman
Wallace...and Bloomer (Scott Bloomquist) gave Robby Gordon a helluva
a car and kept walking out on the track during the (numerous)
cautions and saying (motioning) "Go high on this end, low on this
end" and got RG a solid finish out of the deal. Robby acquitted
himself nicely in a foreign-to-him racing series IMO

Robby gots lots a 'sperience on dirt...he just ain't usta seein' the
same corners over 'n over 'n over n' over!
If Gordon picked Bloomquist, he made a good choice. If it was
just luck of the draw, then luck was really working for him. It'd
be hard to argue there's anyone better in that style of car.

Apparently, he's an old "dirt racer." It was interesting that Erin
Crocker gave a thumbs-up to the camera, before disappearing in the
Evernham part of the pits. The camera rarely catches her at the
races.

Ray was a modifed driver of some reknown in the northeast.
Pavement mods, tho, wasn't it? Seems like I associate him with
places like Flemington and Wall.

Crocker, on the other hand, has had pretty much all her success
to date on dirt, so one would imagine she might be able to
give some useful advice.

Well, Flemington was dirt for quite some time before they screwed it up with
pavement, but I do think that you are right. I am just too lazy to google
it.

Well, Crocker's dirt experience is in winged sprint cars, and they drive
quite a bit differently from the late models. . . .

Yup, he has made a good living for himself in the late models.
