I didn't always agree with David, but damn, would've never wished the guy dead. Felt really wierd learning the news after just hearing about 3 hours of his radio show this morning where he was passionately defending his position that Talladega was too unsafe to race on and needed a major change. His idea was to knock down one end of the banking...or the whole track...and start over. I had really grown fond of his morning show (with Mike Bagley) on Sirius: "The Morning Drive". Won't be nearly the same without him, certainly not for a long time anyway. R.I.P. D-Pizzle...condolences to his family and friends. At least you went out at home - The Shady Rest as he referred to it on his and the Bagman's' show - and didn't back down from a single kook caller over the past couple of days when taken to task on your feelings about Dega. |

Glad to hear ya testify Sim, since we had differing opinions about David. Of course u had the advantage of being able to listen to him regularly. I'm gonna miss his contributions to the 'Nascar scene'. |
