actually i had some other titles ready to use inthe sub. line, like
"Soldiers Coming Home Immediately" or "Al Gore, Bill Clinton and John
Kerry, killed in car wreck" but i thought better of it.


from what i read on Jayski, Harvick thinks it was a plant. "I absolutely

before i read the latest update, there were some thoughts that came to mind
about why or how Dilner got used and abused over this.
i thought either someone had a beef w/ Dilner and wanted to make him look
foolish, or just used him as a tool to get the job done at that seemed to
work yesterday. whoever it was, it was probably someone in a very
respectanle position and someone Dilner knew he could 100% rely on for
accurate info. w/o checking into it in more detail. he jumped the gun to
get the scoop and ended up in the POOP and a "Dewey Defeats Truman" type
situation.

whatever the reason or how it happened is more interesting now than the
whole "story" itself. the story now is, how could a seasoned journalist let
this happen to him.

Keep in mind that in usenet, as well as any other place, most people need to
get in the last word in an arguement or disagreement. What you have to do is
find the satisfaction that comes from knowing that the other guy will return
to the thread for a couple days at least looking for your next response,
which of course you never give him the satisfaction of receiving.
