I believe it is more a question of whether None40 is literate. There are
three errors in the subject line alone. Nowhere did the OP spell the
racer's first name correctly.
Guess I was being to clever...for some anyway.

You get a gold star; not only did you spell her name correctly, but you

This proves the theory that wimmins are inferior to men and cannot
race in a series that requires any fortitude or endurance.

whirrrrrrr / ......

Danica might do well in the Moms Mini Vans Series (MMVS).

There, I literally fixed your post as best I could. As to the
content,
why
*would* Danica want to come to NASCAR? She's the news story of the
day
in
the IRL every time she walks out of the paddock, and over here in
NASCAR,
she'd be competing for headlines with other women.

and losing headlines to them too. They are around, but in dev series.
Expect to see Sarah Fisher in some busch races. Erin Crocker gets
touted a lot but was clearly not ready for busch last year.

And what does she thinks needs to be cut into half, the length of
the
season, or the length of the races? "Both" is an acceptable
answer...

number of races

Many IRL drivers actually want to see one or two more 500 milers on
the schedule.

Then they're first going to have to build up enough of an audience that
will
actually sit in front of the TV for 3-4 hours, while watching little
on-track, full rich passing. I figured that's why their races were on
the
shortish side, soas to not lose the attention span of all 10 of their
fans.

Ewww owww, cat claws are out Sim :-) your response made me laugh big
time:-)

Mz JJ
LOL! Thx. It's tough, but someone has to do it. ;-)

I like open wheel racing, champ cars in particular, and it still burns me
that there are 2 series out there, struggling, when there could be ONE! That
could probably be doing pretty good too, IMO...we'll never know I guess, no
one seems really ready to try and unify the sport again.

To her credit, a lot of NASCAR drivers think the series is too long, as
well. I don't know about cutting the series in half, though.

Anybody who does not like the format can get the fuck out or never enter in
the first place.

NASCAR racing fills the void between the end of the NFL season and the good
part of the NFL season.

NASCAR is American style stock car racing with American drivers for American
fans only. No foreigners need apply. This is ours.

Take off the rose glasses. Nascar is trying very hard to get
diversity in the series. This includes women, blacks, toyota, and
very possibly drivers with unpronouncible names.

What you love, is what used to be, not what will be.

I rather enjoyed watching Hideo Fukiyama and Christian Fittipaldi prove my
point.

not all open wheelers can make the transition to taxicabs. In fact,
something like half of open wheelers, including series champions, that
try can't make the transition. Driving a car that big and heavy is
way way different than darty open wheelers. This does NOT make the
nascar guys the best in the world.

Never heard of Fukiyama so I looked him up. He's races exactly 4
times at 48/9 years of age. If that's the best you can do, I feel
sorry for you. Also, sample size of two is a non point.

The diversity that scares the living hell out of you will happen.
This is why owners are currently competing to see which one can groom
the first successful woman driver. They are not looking for Danica,
they are looking for a winner that can also help with the sonsorship.
The last time Danica won, she was 15 and driving a go kart.

Hey, if you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen. Personally, I
work 50 weeks a year or more. I would LOVE to only work 36.

Dude, they work more hours in those 36 weeks than you do in 50, unless
you always put in 80 hour weeks too. For many team members, it's way
more. not only that, they don't get to relax when the season is over.
In short, they work harder then at least 99% of all workers out there
all year long.

By the end of the season, They're very tired.

That brief respite from early November until late February must not seem
like any time off at all.
