Robby now drives a Ford.
Which means that, like all the other Fords, he uses a Yates engine.

With the recent rumors of a DEI-Yates merger, I wonder which engine will
they use.
Will DEI switch to Ford power?

I thought it was Roush-Yates?
That's what Ford calls it, but they come out of the Yates shop
and Doug Yates is the man looking at the pieces if one fails on
raceday, so I call them Yates engines.

And what if the Subject were to be re-written "Does DEI use those Yates engines?"
as the news begins to trickle (Sorry, Dick) out about talks between Yates/DEI or
DEI/Ford?!?

Whoa!! Could this die-hard Blue Oval fan end up with Junior as one of my favs?

As long as Jr is at DEI, that will never happen.
Sr would roll over in his grave if DEI left Chevy.
Jr would never do that to his old man.

Well... Yates will never build chevy engines so where does that leave the
merger?
