Should have been using the double file restart from the get go. Has
worked in local racing, why not in cup? let the leaders race for the
lead, and the rest race for position. Also, seems like it will
increase the number of cars on the lead lap, at leasyt at the longer
tracks.

The old method allowed drivers to earn their lap back. Now that they
are gifted, it's not needed.

I disagree. You still have to earn them, but being in front of all the
other lappers.

media use that term. Either Kyle or Wally even mentioned it during the race.

According to Kenny Wallace on the HD show, Nascar wants the media to use
the term “Double-File Restart – Shootout Style”. That is what either
Klye or Wally was complaining about being too long. And then Weber said;
perhaps you would like to discuss it with the people on the other side
of the glass?
