Seriously, did he just forget how to drive a stock car?

And on top of that, Denny Hamlin's ridiculous move... what was he (or
his
spotter) thinking? Self cleaning track or not, you don't fly through
a
wreck that fast.

Fat Tony just said it was his fault, and I think he's right, he had
plenty of time to avoid saddler.

You're not too good with sarcasm, are you?

-Steven

For those of you who do not get sarcasm, Tony Stewart said that it was his
fault for being within half a lap of Sadler. It was sort of like the
time
a couple of seasons back when Jeff Gordon said that it was his (team's)
fault for getting in a wreck with a backmarker for running that far back
in
the middle of the pack.

It was cool when the Fox announcers pointed out that Mark Martin
negotiated
that moving chicane as easily as an Allstate housewife negotiates a
supermarket parking lot on Saturday morning.

Be it Cup or ARCA or Nationwide or IROC Mark Martin has never in his
career
been in a race car that did not win races.

In a few more years Mark Martin may actually make good on his Cher-like
threat to retire and when he does a lot of race fans are going to miss
seeing the way he races. He drives sort of the opposite of Elliott
Sadler.

I challenge you to cite one single credible source where Mark Martin said he
was going to retire from Cup.

Hamlin...oh yeah the guy who was chastising Keslowski for not earning the
respect of guys who have been running the cup series for years....(like him
with his years of cup experience)...That Hamlin?

They ask the guy what he was thinking going into that wreck and he starts
spitting out sponsor info and how good the car was running and how they were
making progress. Shut up and answer the question dork! That Hamlin?
Frankly I didn't see why Tony Stewart was taking blame for the mess until I
saw in the replay just how much time he really had to avoid it......then
Hamlin comes along out of nowhere and plows in like a total moron.

I'm starting to like Tony again only to find that the jerk award goes to his
team mates.

Hamlin is not a good liar. IMO, Hamlin either made a bad gamble or he
simply did not see what was ahead of him. He assumed that the wreck
would have slid down the track and he came in fast hoping to speed by it
on the outside. That never happened as the wreck remained on the high
side of the track.

Hamlin should have slowed sooner, I don't think he was being completely
honest in claiming he braked immediately. You could see his brakes lock
up late.

However, I don't think it would have mattered much. The cars behind
Denny were still going to be involved in the wreck. There simply wasn't
enough room to avoid it.

Denny needs. to hone up on his bullshitting akills, like some of the
other drivers exhibit.

Hamlin was hardly the biggest culprit of that wreck though, as the
haters claim.

I agree. The guys right behind Denny didn't let up much either.
