Points for *everybody* are reset with Reg Seas Champ with 350 pts... Ratchet down from there by five points for *any* driver that raced that year... Run the last 10 races with the existing points system... Crown who-ever gets hot enuff to take it all. Do *not* exclude anybody! |
honestly, I think it's a really bad idea. It makes the first 26 races
virtually irrelevant.... kinda like one long testing session for what
would basically be a ten week season.

Or was that "we have a debris for caution here at Michigan" as Webber said last week at CA. Even Wally was on his case about screwing up last night during the Busch race. LOL |

I would like to see this....
Same as current chase format with a small difference, if the driver with
the most wins in the season is not currently in the top 10 (or 400pts.)
he gets a buy into the chase. Kind of a reward for winning the most races.

however think of tis before seeing the article as hard as that is to

after Weber made that mistake. Not sure if that was poking fun or
