Bobby Labonte will drive at Atlanta in the Pep Boys 500 after all. After Labonte was dismissed from his driving duties for seven of the remaining 12 races in the No. 96 Yates Racing Ford, the 2000 Cup champ has agreed to pilot the No. 71 Chevrolet for TRG Motorsports in those seven events starting this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway. http://msn.foxsports.com/nascar/story/10017170/Labonte-to-race-at-Atlanta-for-TRG-Motorsports |

Look, the 71 is destined to be one of those left to the curb or forced to arca after the 4 car/10 team league goes into effect, so let Gilliland drive the underfunded machine to close out the season, ok? Better driver: Labonte. The equipment isn't competative, just like the 96. Makes no diff, other than tossing someone to the curb, just like Terry did at Indy just to get the Champions provisional. |

Bill Elliot is another example, wasting someones seat time. *Joey Lagono I don't think is going to be any powerhouse driver, not like Tony Stewart was with that team. |
