A Jeff Gordon fan just told me that Jeff punched Mike at the airport

On TV Monday, Mike's crew chief, said that he had a meeting with Jeff after
the race and apologized personally.
Why would an anonymous JG fan know more about this than Bliss's crew chief?
What's the real truth here?

It was mentioned during pre-race by the booth boys - someone took a
swing at someone else, but since it was off NASCAR property and after
the race, nothing will be done/was done about it, officially. That's
all Weber said - given his penchant for drama, who knows....he's a
jerk.

Bootie Barker, Mike Bliss' Crew Chief on N Performance
(a Speed Channel show featuring Bootie, Chad Knaus, & Larry Mac replacing Dr.Dick)
after viewing the replay, stated 'My driver just flat ran over Jeff Gordon.'

One of those nasty Internet Rumor Mongers that regularly write for Newspapers
reported that Mike Bliss was sporting a black eye after his 'discussion'
with Jeff Gordon at an airport near Joliet IL.
Unfortunately, TNT wouldn't or couldn't get an interview with Bliss
before the NH race to prove it.
As per usual, both Bliss & JG stated the matter was resolved.

At least JG didn't use his racecar to settle his differences
like Matt Kenseth does with Jamie McMurray!

I just wish JG would have shown his athleticism, tuffness, & big right hand
after being wrecked by Tony Stewart at 6/5 Dover.

Pasta Tony acts & talks tuff, but i'd bet JG would whup his ass,
unlike what the FAGs believe.
(U can add yip-yap Harvick to the TS' lite weight class)

Desperation can cause even the most mild-mannered driver like JG
to let his actions speak louder than words.

Would NA$CAR dare suspend JG, especially since they haven't suspended
TS or KH, the Top2 in NA$CAR All-Time Probations 6 to 4?

Who's next on JG's hit list?

Yup, pasta-roni Tony complains that "all these drivers think everyone
should move over for them," and then he just punts people out of the
way when they don't move over for him. One driver interviewed
yesterday (can't remember who it was) said the same thing - Tony wants
everyone to move over for him - mighta been Kurt Busch who said that.
LOL.

Tony should remember good ol' pot-kettle-black.

From Jayski today:
"Gordon's frustrations seemed to get the best of him last week after he
was wrecked by Mike Bliss at Chicagoland. He criticized Bliss when
talking to reporters, and there apparently was a confrontation between
the two - possibly involving fisticuffs - at a local airport
afterward. Gordon wouldn't answer questions about the airport incident.
"Whatever happened between Mike Bliss and me, we're going to work it
out on our own," he said. "I don't think it's anything that's worth
even discussing. As far as I'm concerned it's over with." Bliss, who
appeared to be recovering from a black eye, said there was some sort of
fuss at the airport. "[Gordon] just came up and told me how upset he
was," Bliss said. "I understood it. There was no swing. He was
frustrated, and the wreck was the icing on the cake."(Atlanta
Journal-Constitution)(7-16-2005)"

It seems to me that Bliss' alleged black eye could have come from
anywhere. This is all just more rumor-mongering.
