Didn't notice, havent watched a NASCAR race in some weeks now...It
could be that he has a system similar to mine. Did you notice his
entire belt-up procedure, or did they just give a quick glance? I only
ask because our new system has 2 sets of belts - one set goes under
the HANS and another set goes over. This system was developed so that
the under-set of belts provides cushioning from the carbon fiber HANS
shoulder plates which hurt like hell to cinch down with only 1 set of
belts and no/little extra padding under them. I've been using it all
season and it is a Godsend.

They just showed him sitting the HANS on top of his belts and they cut
away. But, I pretty much answered my own question after I found this
