2009: #18 car too low in post race inspection:
2008: Gibbs Penalties Announced: NASCAR announced that the #18 and #20
teams in the Nationwide Series

Just two.

Go way back, and there's the 20 car that got confiscated by Nascar
before a race and sent to the R&D center, and never was returned
(except for some pieces, I think, but my memory is foggy). *It was
something to do with the rear window, wasn't it?

N.
I should qualify that by saying I don't think the 20 was penalized -
it was a "T. Rex" kind of situation - "We're going to make sure you
don't bring that car again."

N.

OK, what are all of these JGR penalties in Cup? I can't think of any.
You already mentioned them.

What's your point? He said; "The Gibbs and Childress teams have been
caught cheating more in last couple of years than the Hendrick teams."

Lets "go way back" and see how many times HMS cars have been caught
cheating as compared to JGR.

No they weren't. The "X" measurement was off on the backglass. Don't
even know if it was done on purpose or not.

i believe HMS were the first teams penalized with the COT at sonoma
were they not? again for the same thing, they explored the "grey
areas" of the car to improve the downforce that is critical at road
course tracks. and they were penalized and told not to bring back the
cars

I didn't really have a point at all - I wasn't dumping on JGR -
someone asked, and I mentioned that incident. Sensitive, are you?

Nope. Just wondering what your comment had to do with the "last couple
of years".
