Unbelievable. I am truly amazed that it didn't end up near an ISC track.

Okay let me see if I understand this deal. The public will pay for the hall
of fame, pay to operate it and pay Nascar for right to do so! All I can say
is WELL DONE NASCAR!!!!

Someone's getting fucked, and it ain't grandpa. ($1 to someone, but I
cannot remember who said that). I cannot believe they are gonna fuck the
Meclinberg county residents on that. Bring in traffic, pollution,
litter, lower your property prices, and then add to your taxes. Such a
Deal!!!

Much the same way some cities finance their respective NFL/NBA/NBL teams.
No way does the owner of the team want to foot the whole bill.
They simply find a sucker willing to pay everything for them. Even the
player's salaries.

Thankfully it went to NC. Florida taxpayers won't get stuck with the bill.

I had expected it to wind up right next to Daytona USA.

That's Charlotte for you. Already have high crime, the air is blue in
downtown Charlotte with pollution already, and property prices have
fallen due to the illegal immigrant influx. Charlotte brought in more
venues in the last 4 years than they know what to do with. They're
excited about themselves. Yet their schools are in complete disarray
(due to the influx of illegal Mexicans) lost 1000 white students,
gained 6000 Mexicans. Most of the kids go to private schools down here
anymore.
(gangs from Mexicans up from 62 gangs last year to 73 this year) A
serial rapist loose in one of the most beautiful oldest Charlotte big
buck neighborhoods, and don't for get the serial killer (one county
down in Union County) who has killed and decapitated 3 women. The last
one being 2 weeks ago.

Mecklenberg county taxes are already high. But from what I understand
from living near Charlotte (but thankfully in another small town)
private industry is footing a majority of the bill.
But they'll build that new HOF, with no parking. There isn't anywhere
to put parking.
They just keep building and building uptown and never provide parking.

I do however, think the public will flock to the HOF, just like they
flock to all the race shops in Concord and Mooresville (they actually
have bus tours) ....but always thought they should have built it in
Cabbarus County, in Concord, where the majority of race teams are
located. They have the room, they could have provided parking, taxes
are cheaper,
and it's basically still kinda a small town 80,000 people. Small
amount of crime, no pollution, no gangs.

JJ

Luckily, the last Mexican that has the intelligence to operate a gun was
General Santa Ana; and Sam Houston fixed his ass. Otherwise, you would be
down more than three women. But it sure does sound like time to head to
higher ground. At least here in the backwoods of Georgia, our illegals
know their place. If one American gets hurt by an illegal; we even the
score by taking out 100 of them. That's the standard "Deliverance
Conversion Factor".
