How come the South has the highest rate of respiratory infection?

Warmer weather should give southies an advantage inasmuch as not having
to suffer decreased immune response as a result of getting too cold.
There are regional behavioral differences, though. Southern men, even
at age 40, very commonly go out into the cold wearing only a t shirt -
something not often done by normal men. That causes them to be more
vulnerable to infection for obvious reasons. The fact that southerners
are also more careless about cleanliness and hygeine also contribute.
The climate may also be a disadvantage to them in some respects.

We are just too stupid to know how to button a shirt, and soap costs too
much money. The government should give it to us for free.
