hmm, I don't know about that. I noticed a difference this past week when
Guy was subbing for Ince ~ Johnny had a fairly decent run going for awhile.
I'm sure he is disappointed with the change though as he always speaks very
highly of Ince.

Do I have to get more specific?

There are rumours on the JBFC message board to that affect.
James "You Suck" Ince himself made a vague reference to working
on a Chevy in the near future. However, the best thing JB could
do is divorce himself from Ince.

Second best thing JB could do is sit tight at MBV, ride around for
another year or so, then retire a Michigan sports hero so he can
manage his Berlin Speedway.

The #10 team spent considerable time building and testing for a win at
Kansas.
What you saw was the result of Ince actually getting his stuff together long
enough to put together a good car.

What was the deal with him?!?!... I'm glad to see his hard work almost paid
off. Too bad "almosts" don't mean a damn thing in racing...

James Ince is a young & talented crew chief.
He led an under-funded team to almost win the Daytona 500, turned a
pitiful over-the-wall crew situation around, and worked hard to gel
a driver/team to their first win. I've heard from people close to the
team that the pressures to drive all that success to the next level came
at a huge personal expense in terms of how to deal with those pressures.

I've never been a James Ince fan, but I'm convinced that if he
gets his head screwed on straight, he's talented enough to be
winning crew chief.

Well, Johnny likes im and that is good enough for me. Whatever the problem
is, I hope he gets it straightened out. I believe in second chances, and he
seems like the type of guy that should be given one when the time is right.
