What you saw was the result of Ince actually getting his stuff together long enough to put together a good car. |

He led an under-funded team to almost win the Daytona 500, turned a pitiful over-the-wall crew situation around, and worked hard to gel a driver/team to their first win. I've heard from people close to the team that the pressures to drive all that success to the next level came at a huge personal expense in terms of how to deal with those pressures. I've never been a James Ince fan, but I'm convinced that if he gets his head screwed on straight, he's talented enough to be winning crew chief. |
