I like Despain cuz he speaks bluntly, especially concerning
NA$CAr's capricious rulings, but it still is difficult to believe

How am I assassinating his character? He said it...whether you want to
believe it or not. I simply remember he said it and put it here for
others to read. Weakly confirmed?? Nothin' weak about it...people

For what it's worth, I like Dave Despain. My husband is a former
flat-tracker and says Despain is the only one to give that sport any
coverage at all. That's a good enough reason for me...
