End of the 1st qtr. 14 - 0 Pittsburgh. Looks like Payton took some of the same
screw-up pills that brother Eli took! Looks like I am watching a rerun of the
Pats game last night! ACK!

The Colts are rusty from not playing their regulars for a month. They may
get in synch and turn it on in the second half.

They're racing in Pittsburgh now... and another brother team? What the deal
with quarters... I guess they're doing that with manditory pit stops.

Yeah, but you have to agree that it was a helluva last couple of
minutes. They lost it when they had that earlier 1st (or whatever) at
the Pitt 1 (or whatever), took a flag, and only got a FG. But I guess
Vanderjagt could/should have made the last kick.

Ho, ho...and Boston sports talk was all about can we beat the Colys
this time. Now we're stuck withe the miserable Celtics and Bruins and
a dismembered Sox org'n

Wait'l-next-year Pats fan

Roethlisberger? Must be a pointy-car race...

(any relation to Gerhard Berger?)

I am 1-3 regarding the teams I wanted to win. Only Carolina came
through.

You can't blame Payton. Pittsburghs Defense annihalated the Colts
offensive line. Payton has never been the kind of QB to scrabble out
of the pocket.

It seemed that the officials started out the game calling everything
on Indy. Then they botched the call on the pass interference that
should have gone against the Colts.

After all this, Indy still had a chance to win or tie the game at the
end. It is amazing that Rothlesberger (sic) was able to tacke the
Colt player to prevent a touchdown.

That funny. We must have picked the same teams.

Yes, they sure were using Peyton for a tackle dummy weren't they.

Yes it was an exciting game in the end. Reminded me of Carl Edwards with 3 laps
to go and passing Mark Martin.

and that the ref screwed the steelers on that interception call in the
4th quarter.

actually, if you're going to get picky about things, it would be "Peyton".
